1. What makes Friendly Favors different from other body care brands?
Everything we make is handcrafted in small batches using 100% plant-based ingredients — no synthetic fillers, no artificial fragrances, no harmful chemicals. We started this brand because our daughter needed something better, and that same standard of care goes into every single product we make. When you buy from us, you are buying from a real family, not a factory.
2. Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our entire line is formulated with sensitive skin in mind — it literally started that way. Our Skin Healing Kit was developed specifically for eczema-prone skin, and all of our products are free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, and artificial dyes. As with any new skincare product, we recommend doing a small patch test on your inner wrist before full use, especially if you have known allergies.
3. Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
We are 100% cruelty-free — nothing we make is ever tested on animals. Most of our products are fully vegan. A small number of formulas include goat milk, which is an animal-derived ingredient, so those are vegetarian but not strictly vegan. Every product listing clearly states whether it is vegan so you always know exactly what you are getting.
4. How long will my order take to arrive?
Because everything is handmade to order in small batches, please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be prepared and packaged. Once shipped, standard delivery typically takes an additional 3–7 business days depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is on its way.
5. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free shipping on all orders of $180 or more. For orders below that threshold, a flat shipping rate applies at checkout. We ship across the United States and are working on expanding our international shipping options.
6. What is your return and exchange policy?
Your satisfaction matters deeply to us. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please reach out to us within 14 days of receiving it and we will make it right — whether that means an exchange, store credit, or a refund. Because our products are handmade and perishable, we are unable to accept returned opened items for resale, but we will always find a fair solution for you.
7. How should I store my products to keep them fresh?
Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Our body butters and creams do not contain water, which makes them naturally resistant to bacteria, but heat can cause them to soften or melt. If your butter arrives a little soft from shipping, simply pop it in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes and it will firm right back up. Most products have a shelf life of 12–18 months when stored properly.
8. Can I use your products on children or babies?
Many of our customers use our gentler formulas on their little ones — that is actually how the brand started. However, we always recommend checking with your child’s pediatrician before introducing any new skincare product, especially for babies under 12 months. Avoid products containing essential oils on very young children, and always do a patch test first.
9. Do your gift sets come wrapped and ready to give?
Absolutely. Every gift set is packaged in beautiful, eco-conscious wrapping that is ready to give straight out of the box. We also offer a personal message card option at checkout if you would like to include a note for the recipient.
